As a child I happily had to help with the cooking my working mom. I though disagreed in using to much oil, condiments in general and meats so I started using natural ingredients, only fresh herbs and lots of vegetables making up new recipes and revisiting old ones (all collected in my cook book now). I got a diploma as a tour operator, a Master in tourism but when I became a tour leader in Capri I came up with the idea to combine walking tours with a cooking experience at my house (for the last ten years). I have now become a sommelier and I have made the decision to pair local wine Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC with my cooking experience. Adding a wine tour on the Vesuvius slopes at my fiancée organic vineyard (Cantina del Vesuvio) came up as the perfect marriage! I love good food, wine and being with people what else can I wish for?

A glass of Spumante with a tour of the vineyard will be the right start for the cooking experience. Once home we’ll prepare fresh potato gnocchi Sorrento style, Neapolitan eggplant parmigiana, Sorrento lemons almond lemon cake.
